West Ham beat Luton 2-1 at Kenilworth Road’s opening match in the Premier League. Goals from Jarrod Bowen and Kurt Zouma were enough to ensure the Hammer’s stellar start to the campaign continues. Mads Juel Andersons’ late header gave the home fans something to cheer about but it was West Ham’s day.

A Brammal Lane classic unfolded as Sheffield United drew 2-2 with Everton on Saturday. Doucoure got on the end of a rebound to put the Toffees ahead until Cameron Archer scored and assisted Jordan Pickford to give the Blades a 2-1 lead at halftime. Loan signing Arnaut Danjuma leveled the match after the break. Both sides share the points.

Brentford 2-2 Bournemouth

Brentford were frustrated not to get three points at home to Bournemouth. The Cherries showed resilience away from home as they fended off an attacking Brentford side. Jenson's early goal was canceled out by Dominic Solanke and David Brooks, putting Bournemouth 2-1 until Bryan Mbuemo netted a late equalizer to level things up. Points shared.

Ange’s men continue to dominate after thrashing Burnley 5-2 at Turf Moor. James Maddison continues to put in the work for Spurs after scoring another goal. Tottenham captain Son scored his first hat-trick of the campaign signaling scoring goals will not be an issue for Spurs after Harry Kane’s departure. Burnley fans will start to wonder if their side is strong enough to compete in the Premier League.

The standout result of the weekend by far as Nottingham Forest beat Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. Chelsea dominated the game but couldn’t find the back of the net. At the start of the second half, new signing Anthony Elanga went in on goal and slotted the ball into the corner of the net to secure a famous win for the club. Questions will be asked of Pochettino and Chelsea after they spent half a billion this summer because the results aren’t coming.

Manchester City 5-1 Fulham

Manchester City do what they do best, beating Fulham 5-1 at the Etihad. Fulham put up a good fight but City are on another level. Erling Haaland scored his first hat-trick of the season, it will not be his last. Julian Alvarez and Nathan Ake also got on the scoresheet to put the cherry on top of another wonderful performance.

Brighton 3-1 Newcastle

Brighton ripped apart Newcastle courtesy of an Evan Ferguson hat-trick, his first of his career. Eddie Howe’s men lose two games in a row after their defeat to Liverpool last weekend. Brighton seemingly can’t stop scoring after getting three more, earning them three wins from the first four games.

Liverpool 3-0 Aston Villa

Liverpool brushed aside Villa in a 3-0 win at Anfield. New signing Dominik Szoboszlai scored his first goal for the club after his strike found the corner within the first three minutes of the game. Matty Cash scored an own goal to give the Reds a two-goal lead and Mo Salah got the third. Emery will be disappointed with this result but coming to Anfield is never easy. On the other hand, Klopp will be eager to build on Liverpool’s recent results.

Crystal Palace 3-2 Wolves

A thriller at Selhurst Park saw Palace run out 3-2 winners vs. a struggling Wolves side. An Edouard brace and Eze goal was the difference for the Eagles as they clinched their second win of the campaign. Gary O’Neill will be concerned with his side's start to the season and will want to change the performances soon.

Arsenal 3-1 Manchester United

Arsenal was victorious at the Emirates, winning 3-1 against Manchester United after a 96th-minute winner from Declan Rice. This match was riddled with controversy as Kai Havertz’s penalty was overturned and Alexandro Garnacho’s winner was called for offsides. Arsenal pushed United for the whole game and it wasn’t until the very end when Rice and Jesus got the winning goals to give Arsenal a famous win.
