Chelsea vs. Luton Town

Mauricio Pochettino will be desperate to secure his first win as Chelsea manager, and it doesn’t get any easier than this. Not only are Luton one of the weakest teams in the league, they also haven’t played a game in two weeks so they won’t be as sharp. It seems the wait is about to end for the Blues fans.

Score: Chelsea 3-0 Luton Town

Bournemouth vs. Tottenham

Bournemouth is still searching for their first win under new manager Andoni Iraola, having drawn against West Ham and lost to Liverpool. Spurs fans will be very optimistic about this one after their statement victory over Manchester United last weekend. Ange ball is proving to be a tough nut to crack for some teams. With both teams boasting strong attacking prowess, are strong, goals are almost certain. Cherries fans, while brighter days are ahead, this weekend might not be their moment.

Score: Bournemouth 2-3 Tottenham

Brentford vs. Crystal Palace

A captivating London derby awaits! Palace suffered anarrow 1-0 defeat to fellow Londoners Arsenal last weekend, while Brentford secured a comfortable 3-0 victory over Fulham in their respective London derby. Yoane Wissa and Bryan Mbuemo are anchoring the attack in Ivan Toney’s absence, and I beleive Thomas Frank’s men will continue their good form.

Score: Brentford 3-1 Crystal Palace

Arsenal vs. Fulham

London derbies are a highlight this weekend! Arsenal boasts a perfect six points, while Fulham, after defeating Everton on opening day, succumbed to Brentford’s dominance last weekend. Arsenal’s strength is undeniable, and Fulham might struggle to make an impact in this encounter.

Score: Arsenal 2-0 Fulham

Manchester United vs. Nottingham Forest

Erik Ten Hag’s side hasn’t had a smooth start. After two games, his side appears unfit and sluggish, particularly in midfield where they’ve been overrun. While they narrowly escaped against Wolves, their vulnerabilities were exposed by Spurs. With reports of Rasmus Hojlund and Mason Mount’s potential absence due to injury, Forest, despite their positive start, might struggle against United’s strong home record under Erik Ten Hag.

Score: Manchester United 1-0 Nottingham Forest

Everton vs. Wolves

Both teams seem destined for a relegation battle this season, given their shaky starts. Sitting on zero points, Wolves seem slightly better, with Everton suffering a devastating 4-0 defeat to Villa and Wolves conceding to Brighton in a 4-1 loss last weekend. Defensive frailties are evident on both sides, and while Wolves excel in creating chances, neither team has been clinical. Everton fans will demand a result at home and although I don’t think they will win, I believe a draw is a reasonable expectation.

Score: Everton 0-0 Wolves

Brighton vs. West Ham

An enticing clash awaits. Brighton has been on a mission, scoring four times in their opening two games. West Ham’s 3-1 victory over Chelsea last weekend has lifted their spirits. At the Amex, teams often struggle to contend with the atmosphere and Brighton’s style of play. West Ham might find it challenging to handle the pressure.

Score: Brighton 4-0 West Ham

Sheffield United vs. Manchester City

Sheffiled United will be gutted they weren’t able to take something from the Forest game, despite a dominant second-half display. City has yet to concede this season, bolstered by Erling Haaland’s presence. Not much else needs to be said.

Score: Sheffield United 0-3 Manchester City

Burnley vs. Aston Villa

Aston Villa rebounded from their 5-1 loss at St. James’ Park with a commanding 4-0 victory over Everton. Burnley, however, lost their opener to Man City and had their Luton game postponed due to stadium issues. Emery seeks to build on last weekend's result, while Kompany aims to provide the fans with a memorable display. While Villa struggles in charged atmospheres. Burnley might not possess enough intensity to rattle them.

Score: Burnley 1-2 Aston Villa

Newcastle vs. Liverpool

Undoubtedly the weekend’s marquee match. Newcastle welcomes Liverpool to St. James’ Park for a clash of two attacking-minded sides. Alexis MacAllister will be available for Liverpool after his red card was successfully appealed. Although Liverpool managed a win at Newcastle last season, replicating it this year seems doubtful given their recent performances.

Score: Newcastle 3-1 Liverpool
