The 2022/23 season recently came to an end with Manchester City earning their third Premier League title in a row. With July right around the corner, the summer transfer market has been a little slow. With plenty of time before the new season kicks off, here are our early Premier League predictions for next year:

1. Manchester City - Pretty self explanatory. Manchester City look unstoppable and they are only going to get better.

2. Newcastle - They finished fourth with limited big-money signings last season. Already they signed Sandro Tonali from Milan, that’s their signal of intent.

3. Liverpool - Last season was a fluke, with Alexis MacAllister already signed for Liverpool, Klopp’s showing the league that the Reds are back.

4. Manchester United - Ten Hag earned fourth spot with an average United side last season. With new additions and potentially new owners, I think the club will retain their top four spot.

5. Arsenal - I think going into this new season after losing the title will hurt Arsenal mentally. Also, with Champions League football back at the Emirates, the Gunners are juggling a lot of competitions with limited squad depth.

6. Chelsea - Yes, my bold prediction was that Chelsea will get top four, but if I’m thinking logically they’ll probably get europa league football.

7. Aston Villa - Villa aren’t good enough to compete for Europa league spots yet, maybe in a few years. Conference League football is the standard.

8. Brighton - They’re going to sell most of their standout players this window and it won’t be possible for them to replace Caicedo, MacAllister, Levi Colwell, and maybe more in one summer.

9. Brentford - Without Ivan Toney scoring most of their goals, it will be a struggle for Brentford but overall, ninth place is decent.

10. Tottenham - This club is a mess, I don’t think Ange is a good enough manager for the Premier League.

11. Fulham - A solid mid-table finish is fair for a club like Fulham. Unless they make significant improvement to their squad, eleventh place it is.

12. Crystal Palace - They ALWAYS finish twelfth.

13. West Ham - Last season West Ham were in a relegation fight, but this year I believe they will be okay and finish in a solid thirteenth spot. In a few seasons, we should see West Ham challenge for Europe again.

14. Bournemouth - The Cherries are a below average Premier League team yet they always find a way to pick up good results. I don’t think second season syndrome will hurt Bournemouth.

15. Burnley - Vincent Kompany has transformed Burnley’s in-game tactics. The high press, dominating possession style thrives in a league like the Premier League.

16. Nottingham Forest - They finished last season strongly, if they continue to play like that all season, they will stay up.

17. Luton Town - I want to believe passion beats money! Luton’s story already is amazing: from non-league to the Premier League. I know the whole world is rooting for them and I think the worldwide support will help them beat relegation.

18. Sheffield United - They’re squad at this moment in time is too weak for the league. Let’s see what happens this summer.

19. Everton - I refuse to believe a team can escape relegation three years straight, they deserve to go down.

20. Wolves - Ever since 2020, this club has been getting worse and worse, and now they are without their captain Ruben Neves. It’s only a matter of time before they go back down.
