With the summer transfer window open, here are our 10 bold Premier League predictions for next year:
1. Chelsea will finish in the top four
Last year was a bad season, but so far Chelsea has hired Mauricio Pochettino who has proven to be a good Premier League coach in the past. Chelsea have already removed four or five players who weren’t good enough last season. On top of all that, Chelsea are linked with very good players like Moises Caicedo from Brighton and Nicolas Jackson from Villarreal.
2. Tottenham will finish mid-table or lower
I’m not too convinced with their new coach. Steven Gerard was really good in Scotland and came to manage in the Premier League and was terrible. Brendon Rodgers also came from Scotland and he was good in the beginning for Leicester but ultimately got them relegated. Tottenham tend to sign the wrong players every window. I don’t think Harry Kane can keep saving them.
3. Newcastle will be serious title challengers and will reach the late stages of the Champions League

Without any major signings last season, Newcastle were easily one of the best teams in the league. Now, imagine what it will be like when they dip into their hefty funds this summer.
4. Arsenal will finish fifth
Arsenal under Mikel Arteta are definitely on their way back to the top, however, I feel they won’t be over losing the title last season and it will affect them.
5. Everton will get relegated
It’s not that bold of a prediction since they’ve been in a relegation fight the last two seasons but I don’t think they can narrowly avoid relegation for a third time.
6. Declan Rice will go to Manchester City
The whole Rice saga has been Arsenal bidding too low and Manchester United using McTominay and Maguire as a swap deal. At some point this bidding war will drag on to the point where Manchester City say “here’s 125 million pounds for Rice” and it will be a done deal here we go.

7. Brighton will finish below the European places
Brighton are selling a lot of their top players in Moises Caicedo and Alexis MacAllister and even though their recruitment record is amazing, their new signings will need a season to adjust and gain experience.
8. Darwin Nunez will score 20+ Premier League goals
Liverpool were willing to pay 80 million pounds for this guy, clearly there is a player in him. Last season Nunez had created a lot of great scoring opportunities for himself but couldn’t find the back of the net. If Klopp can help him gain more confidence in front of goal then Nunez will be a dangerous player next season.

9. Erling Haaland will score 40+ Premier League goals
Last year was Haalands first season in the Premier League and he smashed it. Next season I can only see him getting better and more dangerous.
10. Manchester United will be sold by the end of next season
This takeover has been in the works since last November, at this point it will be amazing if it is resolved by the end of next year.
